Portable Barcode Readers

Use the portable Videx LaserLite Pro™ Barcode Reader, to scan records in or out from any physical location. Prevent lost files by making location changes convenient for end users.  Save time during a record purge or file inventory project.

The portable LaserLite Pro™ Barcode Readers read barcodes via infrared laser. Bringing you the latest in highly functional portables; ease of use, durability and the flexibility of a small handheld product. And it’s programmed to work optimally with Accutrac®. The portable reader is housed in a corrosion-resistant metal case and weighs approximately 11 ounces.

Scanner Downloader

We recommend at least one Scanner Downloader for use of the portable Barcode Reader. It transfers record information directly to your Accutrac program without the hassle of data entry.  Download data from your scanner to the Accutrac program via a Base Station. The base station may be connected directly to a computer or to a modem for data transfer from a remote location. For use with multiple scanners, Base Stations may be daisy chained together.

CodeGate is an intuitive scanning system that is ideal for all scanning applications, including menu-scanning,  document processing, and inventory. Simply present a bar code to the scanner; place the high-visibility laser line on the bar code, then press the CodeGate button to transmit the data to Accutrac®.
